Community Guidelines

Our goal is to keep FreshTea safe and supportive. The rules below are short and specific.

Consent & Identifiable People

Do not post identifying information (names, photos, videos, locations, or other personal details) about someone unless you have their explicit consent. Posts that identify a person without consent will be removed and may lead to account suspension.

No Harassment or Doxxing

Harassment, targeted abuse, doxxing, stalking, hateful conduct, or threats are strictly prohibited. If you are targeted, report the content immediately via the in‑app report tool or by emailing support@freshtea.app.

We actively monitor for harassment and bullying. We use automated tools and human review to identify abusive behavior, and we enforce our rules consistently — repeated violators will be suspended or banned.

Anti‑Retaliation: Retaliating against someone for filing a good‑faith report (intimidation, brigading, threats, outing) is itself a violation and may trigger escalated enforcement.

False / Bad‑Faith Reports: Deliberately false or manipulative reports (e.g., mass‑report coordination to silence a user) risk suspension or ban.

Private Feedback

If you want to give feedback about someone, consider using private channels or obtain consent first. Public, unsolicited critique of identifiable private individuals is not allowed.

Reporting & Emergency Takedown

We prioritize reports alleging non‑consensual images, doxxing, or credible threats. For emergency takedowns, email support@freshtea.app with "EMERGENCY TAKEDOWN" in the subject and include the post URL and any supporting evidence.

Appeals

If your content or account is removed you can appeal by emailing support@freshtea.app. Appeals are reviewed by a separate moderator and do not guarantee reinstatement.

Why we enforce these rules

These rules help protect privacy and prevent harm. Consistent enforcement also helps protect the community and FreshTea from legal exposure.

Location Use

We use location (where enabled) to show nearby posts and improve relevance. We do not intend to show your precise coordinates to other users. See Terms (Location Services) for details and disclosures.
